About GRECON
Zhejiang GRECON Microelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded in May 2018 in Jiashan, Zhejiang (80km from Shanghai, 98km from Hangzhou, 90km from Suzhou), with a 59-mu owned facility and four power-device packaging/test lines; its phase-3 plant came online in July 2024. As a home-grown Chinese power-device company, GRECON supplies IGBT discretes, IGBT modules, SiC discretes and SiC modules for automotive, PV and industrial markets, with integrated capabilities across chip design, simulation, module manufacturing, reliability testing and system-level support. It employs about 200 people with roughly 40% in R&D, and a core team from top global semiconductor companies averaging 15+ years, certified to IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO17025. It co-runs a Zhejiang provincial key laboratory for electromagnetic intelligent sensing/control and advanced electronic integration with Zhejiang University and the Zhejiang Tiantong Institute of Electronic Materials (CNAS-accredited). Its mission is "letting China-made chips reach the world", with a vision to become a first-class international semiconductor company.

Key technical strengths
- China's first automotive-grade integrated IGBT module and first automotive-grade RC-IGBT wafer (fully self-developed, 25% smaller die vs. conventional designs; HPD package rated up to 750V/1100A)
- TPAK symmetric full-bridge brick module with dual-side (top/bottom) soldering, reaching 300A at 450V — about 25% more current than an HP1 package, enabling 75kW module output
- Self-developed MPT2 structure: smaller package, lower-cost stacking, more flexible die combinations, 175°C junction-temperature rating
- CNAS-accredited in-house lab with full reliability capability: power cycling, thermal cycling, high-temperature storage, thermal shock, HTRB and humidity/enclosure testing
