SineSemi's SGT MOSFET SMT4001AHP Wins the Market Pioneer Award on the 2026 Strong Chip List

The 2026 Strong Chip List was announced on 20 August during the ICDIA conference in Nanjing, and SineSemi's self-developed N-channel SGT MOSFET SMT4001AHP took the Market Pioneer Award.

The 2026 China Strong Chip programme is run by the China IC Design Innovation Alliance to single out domestic chips with technical competitiveness and application value. Its Market Pioneer Award goes to products that have made a major breakthrough in chip technology or application, lead in market share, enjoy strong customer recognition and have been deployed at scale.

SMT4001AHP is a 40 V N-channel SGT MOSFET in a PDFN5060-8L package, with a typical on-resistance of 1.2 mΩ and 212 A of continuous current at 25°C. The die uses a safety-redundant design for automotive-grade protection and the "anti-blow-up" capability SineSemi builds into the part, combining its patented IDOS SGT technology with a high-power, high-dissipation package. The 1.2 mΩ RDS(ON) and low Qg bring conduction and switching losses down together; a wide SOA absorbs the electrical stress of motor stall, hard stop, acceleration and overload; and a low Crss/Ciss ratio helps keep EMI in check. The 212 A rating also leaves margin for thermal design, easing temperature rise under high-power operation.

The part has been tuned specifically for motor applications, matching its parameter balance to the segment so end products are easier to debug. SMT4001AHP is shipping at scale across several application areas and has passed rigorous qualification at leading and benchmark customers; SineSemi lists it as a Hero product. Going forward, the company will keep investing in its next-generation SGT core technology and speed up product iteration.
