On 10 November 2025 the 2025 China Robot Industry Talent Development Conference, organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, convened in Shanghai. SineSemi was among the award winners of the 10th Maker China Intelligent Robot Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, recognized for its project "High-Performance SGT MOSFETs Designed for Embodied-Robot Applications".

SineSemi concentrates on low- and medium-voltage SGT technology and is building out its presence in humanoid robots, AI servers, the low-altitude economy and new energy. SGT parts for these segments have passed validation at several benchmark customers and are in volume production.
The awarded project targets high-precision drive of embodied-robot joint motors. The MOSFETs were engineered around three axes — energy loss, paralleling compatibility and robustness under shock — and come in two package forms:
- PDFN5060: dual-side cooling in a compact footprint, easing heat build-up in joint motors, lowering losses and extending reliability and service life under heavy load — aimed at joint drive systems with demanding thermal requirements.
- TOLL: a high-power package that customers deploy in a two-layer stacked layout for multi-motor series configurations, saving board space while keeping signal transmission stable and reducing EMI.

At the device level, SineSemi's patented IDOS technology is aimed at improving the combined static and dynamic figure of merit (FOM), and it shows up in three ways:
- Low loss, easy paralleling: low RDS(ON) and low conduction and switching losses raise system efficiency and power density; VGS(th) binning together with good current sharing makes multi-device paralleling straightforward and trims system cost.
- Reliability and robustness: a wide SOA (safe operating area) handles extremes such as motor stall with greater shock tolerance.
- Design-friendly: an enhanced built-in RC snubber suppresses voltage spikes and improves EMI, and a linearized Crss Miller characteristic strengthens noise immunity.
Looking ahead, SineSemi will keep investing in high-performance power-chip technology and product iteration, and work with partners along the supply chain to meet humanoid-robot motor requirements with a fuller product matrix and solution set.
