SineSemi's Linear SGT MOSFETs Target Hot-Swap and Battery Protection with a Focus on SOA

SineSemi has released a family of linear SGT MOSFETs that combine trench and planar techniques for hot-swap and battery-protection uses, where transient ruggedness matters; SMT10T03DHP, SMT10T03DHSS and SMT10T03DHTS are all in volume production.

The family is designed around its safe operating area (SOA): the 10 ms single-pulse SOA stands out in the VDS>30V region, suiting demanding high-voltage scenarios such as hot-swap, motors and BMS. A selection example: for a 48 V system input where output current must be held to no more than 2 A within 8 ms, check the device's 10 ms SOA curve directly.

The three production parts above map to PDFN5060-8L, TO220-3L and TO263-3L packages respectively. SineSemi has built a 40V/100V linear SGT MOSFET matrix across multiple packages, covering server power, telecom power, automotive electronic control and battery protection.
