The 2024 China International Automotive Electronics Summit, co-hosted by the electronics media group AspenCore and the Shanghai Transportation Electronics Industry Association, was held in Shanghai's Pudong New Area on 28 November. Under the theme "Technological Leap: A Full People-and-Vehicle Ecosystem", it brought together technical experts and executives from the automotive and semiconductor industries to discuss the industry's shift toward intelligence and green transformation, international cooperation and supply-chain co-innovation.

Xu Dongzhi, Senior Marketing Manager at SineSemi, was invited to speak on "SineSemi's Automotive Chip Solutions in Practice for Vehicle Electrification". The talk covered SineSemi's product roadmap and latest progress in chips for smart vehicles, and the steps the company is taking to raise the performance and reliability of its automotive-grade devices. Its starting point: the global automotive industry is accelerating toward intelligence, electrification and connectivity; automotive-grade power semiconductors are the core components of the motor-control part of an EV's "three-electric" system, directly shaping drive efficiency, charging speed and range, and their content and value per vehicle keep rising.

The keynote focused on three groups of automotive MOSFETs:
- SMT4005 series automotive MOSFETs: built for compact, high-efficiency automotive water pumps. Measured against benchmark parts from European and US majors, on-resistance is about 10% lower and FOM about 15% better, translating into higher efficiency, lower loss and lower temperature rise; the die design also adds voltage margin and safety redundancy.
- 100V PDFN5060 MOSFETs: on-resistance ≤2 mΩ — the dual-side-cooled version has a typical RDS(ON) of 2 mΩ, and the wettable-flank package version a typical 1.9 mΩ.
- N-channel SGT MOSFETs: rated from 40 V to 250 V and offered in PDFN5060-8L, sTOLL, TOLL and other power packages for higher power and current capability; AEC-Q101 qualified, with PPAP support.
Xu also took part in the panel discussion "Innovation and Challenges in Automotive Electrification and Electrical Systems", exchanging views with representatives from across the supply chain on technology paths for vehicle electrification and on building a domestic automotive-electronics ecosystem.
Going forward, SineSemi will keep its engineering and development teams focused on high-performance, high-reliability automotive-grade products.
