Applications
Automotive 2-channel isolated gate drivers drive two power switches (e.g. a half-bridge's high/low side), providing electrical isolation between control and power sides — used in traction inverters and on-board power systems.
- Isolation voltage rating and CMTI must meet automotive EMC and safety requirements
- Propagation-delay matching between the two channels affects switching synchronization in bridge circuits
- Drive-current capability must match the gate charge of the driven power device (IGBT/SiC MOSFET)
- AEC-Q100 qualification and a wide temperature range are baseline requirements
